08:00 - 09:30 | Transfer to Wadi Shab

Comfortable trip to Wadi Shab. Upon arrival, your guide will take you through this picturesque canyon, explaining its history and features.

09:30 - 12:30 | Exploring Wadi Shab (hiking and swimming in natural pools)

Walk along the trails of Wadi Shab, swim in natural pools and explore hidden caves. Enjoy crystal clear waters and picturesque scenery.

12:30 - 13:30 | Lunch break

Delicious lunch at a local cafe

13:30 - 14:30 | Transfer to Bimma Sinkhol Lake

Short drive to Lake Bimmah Sinkhole. Upon arrival, you will have time to enjoy this natural wonder, swim in the turquoise waters and take amazing photos.

14:30 - 15:30 | Rest and return

After an action-packed day of adventure, we will head back to Muscat. Along the way, you can share your impressions with the guide and ask any questions.

15:30 - 16:00 | Arrival at the hotel

Return to your hotel in Muscat. Our guide will say goodbye to you and wish you a pleasant rest after an unforgettable day.

This full-day experience combines hiking through a dramatic canyon, swimming in natural pools, beautiful mountain scenery and a visit to the famous Bimmah Sinkhole.

Wadi Shab Adventure

After pickup from your hotel in Muscat, you will travel along Oman’s eastern coast towards Wadi Shab.

From the entrance to the wadi, the adventure continues through the canyon. The route includes walking over rocky terrain before reaching the natural pools where you can swim and cool down.

Your private guide will accompany you during the experience and help you navigate the route.

Swimming in Wadi Shab

One of the highlights of Wadi Shab is swimming through its natural pools surrounded by steep canyon walls and rocky landscapes.

Water shoes or coral slippers are strongly recommended because some areas can be slippery and rocky.

Bimmah Sinkhole

The tour also includes a visit to Bimmah Sinkhole, one of the best-known natural attractions along Oman’s eastern coast.

This impressive limestone depression is filled with clear turquoise water and provides a beautiful stop during the journey.

This tour includes hiking over uneven and rocky terrain as well as swimming. A reasonable level of physical fitness is required to complete the full Wadi Shab experience.

The tour is not recommended for children under 6 years old.

Swimming conditions and access to some parts of the wadi may change depending on weather and water conditions.

What a great day ! It was exactly what we were hoping for : aventure and discovery in family! Given the fact we were with 3 Kids (12 / 10 and 6 years old). The site is stunning of course. We were led by a sportive and passionate guide, Hamood, who shared a lot of the culture and history of his country. The rythm was really good and adapted : no rush, true enjoyement and yet a very full day. Not only a guide, we really felt that Hamood took care of each of us.

Our tour guide, Jamaal, was AMAZING! The whole trip to Wadi Shab and the sinkhole was fantastic in and of itself but Jamaal made it much more so. Beautiful car, well prepared, super considerate, very knowledgeable about all things Omani, he was one of the BEST tour guides I’ve had in any country for any trip. He knew Wadi Shab like the back of his hand, he navigated us through the labyrinthine chasm as far as we could physically go. I felt bad for tourists who were trying to accomplish the Wadi by themselves / this is clearly not recommended. Jamaal was super safety conscious yet adventurous. He was great about recommending super photo ops. Jamaal- thank you and thanks for meeting us at airport to give us something valuable we had left in car! Awesome- my highest recommendation!!!!

This trip was fantastic. I want sure about this trip but it was a highlight, especially for my teen age son and daughter. I'd recommend it as a day away from normal touring. Note: we were shattered the next day.

All twelve of us in the group were impressed by the cleanliness and development of Muscat, the love of Omanis for their departed Sultan, their pride in their country and the well organized welcome for tourists. Went on the full day Wadi Shab Bimmah Sinkhole tour. Pick up direct from hotel was on time, our driver and guide Mahmood was excellent, full of fun and looked after us well. Experience itself well worth it, a great day out if you enjoy a good hike, swimming and fun. The scenery is unreal, the last cave and fountain worth all the effort to get there. Everyone on the trip were so friendly and I enjoyed every minute of it, and to finish off with an Omani meal in a local restaurant and stop off for tea and sweets on the way home.
