Day 1: Travel from Dubai and Evening in Muttrah

Your journey begins with a trip from Dubai to Muscat by bus or plane, depending on your selected package. GidOman Tours will arrange your transportation tickets.

Upon arrival in Muscat, you will have time to check in at your hotel and relax after your journey.

In the evening, meet your guide and discover Muttrah, one of Muscat’s most atmospheric and historic districts.

Enjoy a walk along the famous Muttrah Corniche, admire the beautiful harbor and explore the traditional Muttrah Souq, where you can find spices, frankincense, souvenirs and locally made handicrafts.

After the walking tour, you can choose a restaurant in the Muttrah area and enjoy dinner at your leisure. Dinner is not included in the tour price.

Day 2: Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque and Your Choice of Excursion

Start your morning with a visit to the magnificent Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, one of Oman’s most famous architectural landmarks.

After exploring the mosque with your guide, continue with your chosen full-day excursion.

Option 1: Wadi Shab and Bimmah Sinkhole

Travel along Oman’s scenic coastline towards Wadi Shab, one of the country’s most beautiful natural attractions.

Enjoy a walk through a spectacular canyon surrounded by dramatic cliffs and palm trees. At the end of the trail, you will have the opportunity to swim in Wadi Shab’s crystal-clear natural pools.

After your adventure in the wadi, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Lunch is included with this excursion option.

Your next stop is the famous Bimmah Sinkhole, a remarkable natural limestone formation filled with turquoise water. Enjoy time to relax, take photographs and admire the scenery before returning to Muscat.

Option 2: Nizwa, Birkat Al Mouz and Jebel Akhdar

This alternative excursion introduces you to Oman’s fascinating history, traditional villages and spectacular mountain landscapes.

Begin your journey in Nizwa, one of Oman’s oldest and most historically significant cities. Explore the traditional Nizwa Souq and visit the impressive Nizwa Fort.

Continue to Birkat Al Mouz, a picturesque village known for its historic architecture, date plantations and traditional falaj irrigation system.

Next, travel by 4×4 vehicle into the magnificent Jebel Akhdar Mountains. Discover traditional mountain villages, terraced farms and breathtaking panoramic views of the Hajar Mountains.

Day 3: Dolphin Watching and Snorkeling in Bandar Al Khairan

First, cruise into the waters off Muscat in search of dolphins. We will do our best to spot these fascinating marine animals in their natural habitat. However, dolphin sightings depend on natural conditions and cannot be guaranteed.

Continue towards the beautiful bays of Bandar Al Khairan, one of the most picturesque coastal areas near Muscat.

Enjoy a snorkeling stop in clear waters surrounded by rocky coves and marine life. A light snack is provided during the boat trip.

After returning to Muscat, prepare for your journey back to Dubai. Your return bus ticket or flight from Muscat to Dubai will also be arranged by GidOman Tours according to your selected package.
